So this morning as I was getting ready to come into my church for my schooling, I really got thinking to myself this emptiness that I am feeling is for missions. I really feel as if I need to be somewhere right now other then Canada where I can be more help. It's not that I don't love Canada, I am very thankful for this nation it's just I need to be doing something. I feel like I be more of an accomplishment somewhere rather then here.....
As I was standing there looking in the mirror doing my hair I began to really think if I could have the opportunity in the near future to go to some place like Haiti or Guatemala (places I have already been) I would like to try it out for a year, see where that takes me. Then come back here and finish up my schooling because I want to go for my hairdressing license within the next few years. And while I am in Haiti I could finish up the ISOM course online. I know this is a big step to be taking but to be learning about God and going to a nation where they're so hungry for God, would be such a incredible experience putting into practice what I learn. I know for a fact I need to really think this through and get advice from whoever wants to give me their words of wisdom. If I had this chance I would so take it in a heartbeat!
This is truly what my emptiness is I know it I can feel it, plus I am getting so much more hungry for God and learning his plans for life life!

This is such a common feeling I think, for people to feel unsatisfied with where they are, and have an ache to accomplish more for the Lord and His kingdom. I love your heart for the nations - but never lose sight of Canada. A way to ease your anxieties is to put your home in perspective, and treat it like a missions field. There are so many opporunties to give back here. It is not the same, but... it people in Canada need the love of Christ just as much as more poverty-strucken countries. Good luck beautiful!!! I love you ---
Hi there from another DSCF Jesus lover! ;o)
I wanted to recommend something to you. After I graduated from High School I went to YWAM (Youth with a Mission). I learned lots and LOVED the 6 week missions trip in Guyanna, South America. I would totally recommend you checking YWAM out! (Jen Piers also went to Ywam but in Hawaii and I think that she did her missions trip in Honduras.)
Really! wow! that sounds incredible!!! I would love to do something like that for sure!! that sounds so great!!! I love traveling and especially doing something like that!! thanks! I am so totally going to look into that!
