Princess Within!

So I was just sitting here thinking about a lot of stuff that is on my mind, I always have a lot on my mind! I don't know why but God designed me that way! I started to think about Disney Princess's and I was thinking about my all time favourite Disney movie "The Little Mermaid".

I remember watching this movie for my first time, I was either 3 or 4. My Daddy I will just call him that because he still is my daddy! brought it home from work, someone let him borrow it. My Daddy I guess was telling him about how I really wanted to see that movie! I tell yah that first experience of watching that movie, I was so taken by the mermaid's that I wanted to be one lol! Yes! it's the truth I wanted to grow fins and be able to go to my Nana's pool and live in it. I wanted to be a fish. I thought to myself maybe I am suppose to be a fish I love swimming so much. I remember that back then my parents couldn't find the movie for me. It was sold out everywhere I was so sad it was honestly my favourite! 

I remember going to my baby sitters and just sitting there drawing mermaid fins on paper for hours and colouring! I was super serious about this mermaid business! Like, why couldn't I be a mermaid! I wanted to be Ariel so badly!!! She got to swim all the time! I guess I thought that be the life. 

At this point in my life I didn't really care about boys. What can I say? they had cooties and were gross! So I didn't care about when she wanted to be a human! I thought she was crazy! I would have traded her spots in a heartbeat. The reason why I think I wanted to be a mermaid was because I thought there was so much freedom in being able to have an ocean to explore with all your fish friends and fellow mermaid's and mermen. 

Now that I am older I am kinda glad God didn't make me a mermaid LOL... because when I watch this movie I realize it is going after what you really want, I really want to be like Ariel someday and be a princess getting married to my prince. My wedding might not be so dramatic with my father coming out of the water to kiss me because he is a mermaid, but it will be a fairy tale ending to me but just the beginning of the rest of my life with the guy of my dreams. Even though I am not part of a royal family I am still a princess to my parents eyes and even more importantly to my heavenly father! 

The Little Mermaid is still my all time favourite movie and I watch from time and time again because I love to relive memories of my childhood. I am suh a big fan that my first daughter when I have children name is going to be Melody from the "Little Mermaid 2".  You can call it obsession but I call it destiny and future!
