The Girl Within

She beautiful; she is picture perfect with those blue eyes and bright blonde hair. But she wonders does anyone see her in this world the way her father does? She knows he has huge plans for her future, but she has her doubts. She never felt the love of any other man, other then her father. She wants to feel the love the way she does from him. I t has to be intense, but not as intense as her fathers, before she even considers giving any part of herself away to him.
She has the picture in her head how she wants her family to be. She is fee;ing more mature now that she knows this is the next step into her future. Turning from all her childish ways. She just has the strong feeling from within that she knows her prince is coming to rescue her soon. She is waiting anxiously for this guy, who she knows will be hers forever.
Still God hasn't given her any sign of the man that is to come into her life. She prays and prays to seek out her love to be. When all of a sudden she hears "be patient my child, be patient", that still small voice calls out to her from high above. She knows this is her father, trying to calm her down before she makes a mistake that one day she will regret. But now she settles herself into her father's presence, by singing and reading her bible. As she reads on she comes across the scripture on love 1 Corinthians 13;

                                 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy,
                                  it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude,
                                 it is not self- seeking, it is not easily angered,
                                 it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight
                                in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
                                always trusts, always hopes, always perserves."

What really stands out to her in this verse is that love is patient, "Patience is key", and love is not self- seeking. As she has been searching so desperately she forgot exactly who was in control of her desires, hopes and even dreams. She falls to her knees and surrenders all of her love to God with a simple prayer saying; "Unto you I surrender my love and everything you have for me. I want to live in the fullness of your glory. God I pray that you be the director of my paths."  Even if this means not knowing exactly what lies ahead in her future. She has no other choice but to trust the one who loves her most.
 This girl is more in love with Jesus today then she ever has been, she is not just satisfied with what she has. She knows God has more; she wants to just soak in his presence and in his love. Even when she cannot feel him near she knows, he is still with her in anyway possible known to man.
She's beautiful; she is picture perfect with those blue eyes and bright blonde hair, and she will wait  for that special someone until the day she is laid to rest. Until then she will keep pressing on into God's presence and wont loose sight of him as easy as her immature heart adn mind use too. She has new goals and plans that God has shown her. She will wait, yes she will wait.
